Tax Tax is a very fickle thing. It will have a slight influence of how your people respond to your call to arms and their opinion of your ruling them. You may change the tax once per week and whatever amount the tax is will add to the city's weekly gold collection.

The Thread In each city the ruler will need to post a thread so that they know and keep whats going on documented. PM an admin with whatever changes you've made so that we know that things are fair. City Information

The Barracks Alright. I know this will be a little confusing at first and if it causes too many problems I will remove it. I just thought that it would be interesting and give a slight twist. This barracks are the buildings that hold the training equipment for the army and trains them on how to use their weapons more efficiently. They can be purchased in the military market and once bought they can be built in whichever city you wish(a thread can be made.) After the barracks have been purchased, then it would be advisable to buy the equipment in the military market. Once this is done, you can post in the Barracks thread that x amount of troops have begun training with wichever type of weapon. Their training can take as many from 2 - 4 days(an admin will post it in the thread) and once the time limit is up you now have that specific unit. There is a way of combining the unit types with the barracks. The combination of equipment will need to make sense though. You wouldn't have a unit wielding a pike and a spear atop of horses.
