Conducting Battles

Expansion Battles(Against NPC)

These are going to be the battles to begin most of the site in its beginning. These battles will be when a kingdom or rogue who has bought their own soldiers, forming an army, will go about doing when taking your first city.

These battles are to prepare you for the player vs player and expand your kingdom.

How To
1. You must PM an admin or battle moderator that you wish to attack whichever city.

2. An admin or Battle Moderator will respond to your PM, create a thread in the Battles board, and inform you on how strong your opposition will be(the troop count) and will NPC a governor to battle you for the city.

3. Throughout the battle the Battle Moderator will assess the losses of each side, the side who runs out of soldiers(is routed) or who surrenders is the loser of the battle.

Tips
1. In the battle you should give detail in your posts as to your formations or strategies, so the battle moderator will have more insight to assess the battle damages.
2. At the bottom of each post you could put a summary of what happened and will give other reads a brief review of what's happened in your post.

Kingdom/Force Battles(Player-vs-Player)

These are the true battles of the board. Once all of the free cities are taken, or two forces neighbor each other and are hostil these will ensue.

How To
1. To begin the battles you will have to PM the admin or a Battle moderator. They will in turn PM the Ruler of the force and Prefect of the city. Each side will be PM'd a map and there tactics, if employed, will be pointed to the battle moderator and if they deem the tactics possible they will keep the maps and take them into his/her judgement during the assessments.

2. Once the battle is accepted, the two forces will begin the battle with a battle moderator or admin creating the thread, giving the map, and any other conditions. The admin or mod will assess the battle losses.

3. At the end of each turn, the admin or moderator will post the results and then the battle will be able to ensue again. You MUST wait for the assessments of each turn before posting again.
("Turns" consist of ONE post by each member of each side.)

Tactics and Reinforcements

When using tactics against others in the kingdom and force battles, you will have to PM whichever Battle Moderator of which tactics you would like to use, such as ambushes.

When trying to get reinforcements, the initial party and the newcomers will have to PM the moderator.
